A market with a colorful history on the fringes of Lutyens’ Delhi. Called the Refugee Market in 1948 for refugees from Pakistan to 1963 when the government built shops and renamed it after Meher Chand Khanna, the then Union minister for rehabilitation. In the next few years, most famous for housing tailoring services with all the names of the shops having the ‘Wonder suffix—First Wonder, Second Wonder, Third Wonder, and so on, it was also famous as the ‘Wonder Market.

Our little shop has evolved into a one stop “wonder” for all ages and tastes. Browse this unique market in the backyard of the famous khan market and get a taste of the low key.
